Conspiracy 2012

To start, I want to say another Thank You to everyone involved in Conspiracy 2011. The writers, the GMs, those who ran events, those who advised us or contributed in any way. And, of course, to everyone who came along to enjoy the weekend with us.
Going into the event, we weren’t sure if there was going to be a Conspiracy 2012. There were impending real life events for each of the committee members, and we thought that perhaps it would be best to just run one successful convention and call it a day. But in the aftermath, on the Sunday evening and the Gaelcon that followed, the feedback we received was so positive and enthusiastic that that question quickly evaporated.

Conspiracy 2012 was on.

Since then, we’ve been working away in the background to ensure that Conspiracy 2 would be even better than its debut year.

We’ve recruited Padraic Barrett as our new RPG co-ordinator, and he’s been applying his not inconsiderable charm to bringing in great writers from all around the country to bring in a great selection of RPGs and LARPs for this year.

On the wargames front, Paul Quigley will once again be applying his expertise to running our Warhammer 40K event, building on the great success of last year. And with the great momentum building in the Irish Warmachine/Hordes scene, we will be hosting a big tournament that we hope will be the first to bring the growing playgroups from Dublin, Belfast, and Cork together for an epic clash.

Keep an eye on the website over the next couple of months as we roll out RPG blurbs, upcoming events, and throw some questions your way so we can make Conspiracy 2 the best event possible.

We look forward to seeing you all on the 7th of September this year.
